Shellac dewaxed flakes.  These are the highest quality shellac flakes.  Just add alcohol to the flakes allow to dissolve overnight.  Apply with brush, cotton, or hand.  Combine with linseed oil for a french polish. Made from the shellac bug, shellac makes a superior, natural wood finish. This is enough shellac to finish 2-3 bows. 

If you have only ever tried pre-mixed shellac or aerosal can shellac, then please dont judge shellac by your expereinces with those products.  Try dewaxed shellac flakes freshly mixed when you need it.
