Echo Archery
offers Surewood Shafts douglas-fir arrow shafts (for finished
arrows, see our Wood
Arrows page). Surewood shafts are offered in dozens,
available in spine groups of 5# and weight matched to +-5
grains.
Cutting to
length and nock and point tapers are provided as an option $5 (see
below).

Premium ($45/dozen)
Premiums are hand graded and hand spined to within a 5 pound spine
range and hand weighed to plus or minus 5 grains. No fewer than
four continuous annual growth rings the entire
shaft.
Hunters
($38/dozen)
Hunters are
hand graded and hand spined to within a 5 pound spine range and
hand weighed to plus or minus 5 grains. No fewer than three
continuous annual growth rings the entire shaft. These are good
useable shafts at a great
price.
Nock and Point Tapers, Cut-to Length ($5/dozen)
We can cut
your shafts to length and taper the point and nock for you.
Please use the drop-down option below to select your desired Back
of Point (BOP) length.
BOP length
is measured from the base of the point taper to the end of the nock
point.

recognizes that heavy spined wood arrow shafts are hard to
find. That is why we are proud to offer Surewood Shafts
douglas-fir wood arrow shafts in spines of 85-90 to 105-110 in
11/32" diameter and mass weight groups of 20 grns.
These are
ideal for warbow enthusiasts or the bowhunter seeking to utilize a
heavy broadhead.

Make your own fir arrow shafts!
Echo Archery also offers old-growth douglas-fir bolts, properlay seasoned and ready to be turned into arrow shafts. These bolts measure approx 3"x 3"x 34" and yield 2-4 doz arrow shafts depending on method. Premium bolts are $65.00
